Hamlet was NOT a hero. No matter if Hamlet followed Aristotle's format of a hero, Hamlet does not show any qualities that would make him be considered a "hero" in my eyes. Hamlet did not have a passion for better wellbeing, Hamlet did not act in actions to save anyone, and Hamlet most definitely was in no sorts was he a role model. The story Hamlet is one on revenge, a hero in my eyes would never act upon the thoughts and feelings of revenge. Hamlet is nothing more than an average person. He lives life doing whatever he wants whenever he wants. If something bad is happening in his life he mopes around. If he sees a chance to scream and taunt people he shall. Hamlet is the type of person to go around doing whatever he wants just because he can. Through the hardships of losing his father, Hamlet went crazy performing actions that are unforgivable and that hurt others. People that Hamlet cared for, such as Ophelia and his mother. Everyone dies due to the actions of Hamlet along with the actions of King Claudius. Therefore, in my eyes, there is no way that I would ever consider Hamlet a hero.
