Throughout this semester, I have been introduced to many characters who show attributes that I consider to be hero lie. Such as the determination from Gatsby, the unwillingness to stay down from Walter, the sacrifice from Snowden and the actions help the needy from the medical soldier all of these people have shown the different steps in which heroes take on a day-to-day basis. When I took a closer look at all of these people individually, none of them were able to fit my image of what a hero should be. Each one of them had their own flaws, such as the actions in which Gatsby takes to become the man he is. Along with my ideology that Heroes don't lose. A hero is someone that can be looked up upon by a figure in which we know if poop hits the fan, we will be able to turn to them without a doubt in our mind that they will win. As I say this, as we put all of these characters together into a singular person, I believe that that person would be a hero. In the world I live in today, I do not believe a hero exists. Instead, I believe that each and every single person on the earth has the ability to show heroic traits, and only together will we be able to perform tasks as a real hero would. If we all can try to make the world a better place and actively work a happier healthier world, we won't need a hero to save us, we will save ourselves.
